Frequently asked questions
Start with the basics: what ABA is, where sessions happen and support in your preferred language. For questions about your family’s next step, our team is a phone call away.

Getting started
How do we get started?
Call us or request a call back and share your contact details. Our team checks your benefits and explains your coverage and any costs before care begins. Then we schedule your assessment and introduce you to the BCBA who will lead your child's program.
Do I need a diagnosis or insurance details to reach out?
No. You don't need a diagnosis or insurance details to request a conversation. Tell us how to reach you and we'll help you understand the next steps.
What happens during the assessment?
The assessment helps us understand your child's strengths, areas of need and your family's priorities. Depending on your child's needs and your plan, it may include caregiver interviews, a review of records, direct observation and an assessment of communication, social, play and daily-living skills. The results become an individualized treatment plan with measurable goals.
Insurance and cost
Does insurance cover ABA therapy?
Most major insurance plans cover ABA therapy. Our team verifies your benefits and coordinates with your plan on your behalf, and we explain exactly what's covered before care begins.
Which plans do you accept?
We're in network with Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas, Community Health Choice and Medicaid. If your plan isn't listed, call us and we'll check your benefits and explain your options before any care begins.
Why don't you ask for my insurance details online?
To protect your family's privacy, our forms only ask for your name, email, phone and ZIP code. We'll ask for your carrier and member ID when we call you.
Sessions and care
What is ABA therapy?
ABA therapy (Applied Behavior Analysis) is a research-based intervention that has helped thousands of children communicate more clearly, reduce behaviors that limit their potential, develop social and daily-living skills, and grow in independence and emotional well-being.
Where do sessions happen?
Sessions take place in your home or out in the community, whichever fits your child and your family best. With your authorization and the daycare's cooperation, sessions can also happen at your child's daycare when clinically appropriate and permitted by the facility.
Who works with my child?
A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) develops and oversees your child's individualized treatment plan. Trained behavior technicians may provide direct one-to-one sessions under ongoing clinical supervision.
How will we see progress?
Every plan has clear, measurable goals. The BCBA regularly reviews session data, evaluates progress and adjusts the plan when clinically necessary, so you can see growth in communication, social and daily-living skills, and independence.
Your family
Will I be involved in my child's therapy?
Yes. Through caregiver training, a BCBA shows you strategies from your child's plan through explanation, modeling, guided practice and feedback, adapted to your family's routines and culture.
Do you offer services in Spanish?
Yes. All of our services are available in both English and Spanish, so every family can feel supported in the language they're most comfortable with.
What areas do you serve?
We serve families in Houston, TX and surrounding communities, in Texas only. Share your ZIP code when you contact us so we can confirm we serve your area.
