Care that fits your world
In-Home ABA Therapy
Personalized ABA Support in the Comfort of Your Home
Talk with our team
In-home ABA therapy uses the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to teach meaningful skills and address behavioral challenges within the client's natural environment. A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) develops and oversees an individualized treatment plan, while trained behavior technicians may provide direct one-to-one intervention under ongoing clinical supervision.
At A Big Act ABA Therapy LLC, our in-home ABA therapy services bring individualized, evidence-based support directly into the environment where your child feels most comfortable and where many important daily routines naturally occur.
By providing therapy in the home, our clinical team can better understand your child's everyday experiences and develop practical strategies that are relevant to your family's needs. Treatment is individualized according to the client's strengths, developmental needs, clinical assessment, and family priorities.
What Is In-Home ABA Therapy?
Rather than teaching skills only in an unfamiliar setting, home-based treatment allows clients to practice them during real routines and activities.
Skills We May Address
Depending on the client's individualized treatment plan, in-home ABA therapy may focus on:
- Functional communication
- Requesting help, attention, breaks, or preferred items
- Following instructions and completing routines
- Transitioning between activities
- Increasing independence with daily living skills
- Play and leisure skills
- Social interaction with caregivers and siblings
- Waiting and tolerating changes or delayed access
- Reducing behaviors that interfere with safety, learning, or participation
- Generalizing learned skills across people, activities, and environments
What Happens During a Session?
Sessions are structured around the client's individualized goals while incorporating natural activities, preferred interests, play, and household routines. The therapist collects objective data, evaluates the client's response to intervention, and adjusts teaching strategies as directed by the supervising BCBA.
Family participation may also be incorporated to help caregivers understand the strategies being used and support consistency outside scheduled therapy sessions.
